The type of shoe mold
1. According to the material to be divided into: outsole (RB), EVA, TPU, PU, air cushion, patch. Among them, traditional RB, injection RB and foaming RB are included. Midsole (EVA) is divided into traditional EVA (CP), injection EVA (IP) and 3DMF.

A variety of nouns related to shoe mold
1. plate shape: This is the most important shoe mold. Because the shape of the plate is changed, especially the mouth plate, the 3D has to be redone. And the mold on the plate shape error mold may be scrapped. The plates are: LAST, leather plate (TOPNET), inner core plate (TOP), also called mouth plate, upper outer plate (TOPOUT), BOTTOM, outermost plate, inner plate (LATERAL), MEDIAL plate, keel plate (SECA-A), fault plate SECB-B, FRONTV IEW) and HEELVIEW.

An explanation of each related noun
(1) Meat thickness: usually refers to the thickness of RB. Total meat thickness is the total thickness of RB; Basic meat thickness refers to the minimum thickness of RB to be guaranteed, usually 1.5mm or 1.8mm.
(2) color separation ditch: both in the color separation used to partition different colors of a wall, because the finished product is concave, so called color separation ditch.
(3) Retaining wall: Generally speaking, there are two kinds of retaining wall. One is because of the color ditch drop is too small easy to overflow color and next to it do a 1.2*1.2mm (width * height) inclined plane to strengthen the color separation, the inclined plane is called the retaining wall. The other is the boundary of regular patterns (especially water ripples), which also acts as a color barrier. The retaining wall is generally 1.0mm wide
(4) Reinforcing: It refers to the concave arc about 0.7mm deep on the inner kernel when the meat thickness of the color separation groove is too little to strengthen the meat thickness of the color separation groove, so that the RB finished product is not easy to break.
(5) Toilet seat: common in basketball shoes and tennis shoes. The RB head position of the shoe is shaped like a toilet, which is called a toilet seat.
(6) Bending groove: usually refers to the small concave groove in the front palm of EVA, which is used to make the shoe more freely when walking and bending. It's usually done on the inner core, but sometimes it's done on the bottom. It is usually made 2.5mm deep.
(7) Inner R: is the number of R on the inner kernel.
(8) shrinkage: refers to the material in high temperature forming after gradually cooling to room temperature will shrink the proportion. Common shrinkage is: RB shrinkage 1.022, CP shrinkage 1.007 (1.018), iron shrinkage 1.02, aluminum shrinkage 1.011.
(9) Die base: the die surface wood die processed according to the direction of the die parting line and the size of the set mold specification drawing.
(10) Male mold: a solid body of three-dimensional pattern processed with wood as matrix.
(11) Grade mass production: make shoe number according to the drawing called this code (sample code). This size shall be used to enlarge or reduce the size of other shoes called mass production.
(12) Foaming ratio: refers to the average magnification ratio of IP mold materials.
(13) Reduced drawing: it means that the 1:1 drawing of finished product is reduced to the drawing of IP mold size according to the foaming ratio of materials when making IP mold.
(14) RP: refers to an entity that makes three-dimensional patterns in 3D files by stacking powder layers. So that customers can see their design pattern and structure without opening the mold. (15) Oblique scanning: When 3D files are being built, the center line of the shoe head and the warping point at the bottom of the keel shall be used as the standard to make the camber surface perpendicular to its front palm. In this way, it is necessary to adjust the warping point and camber of the inner and outer plates, but the total height of the side plates must be the same as the drawing. After oblique sweep shoe head out of the tail position to be flush. The method of not oblique sweeping is to make the front curved surface by drawing the mold center line as the inner and outer. So there is no need to adjust the drawing inside and outside the side view.
(16) Edge pushing trimming: It refers to the way that the raw edge of finished RB with perforated position is 3.0mm higher than the inner kernel surface and can be trimmed by pushing the raw edge with a push knife. The other is a chopper type, the raw edge does not have to be higher than the inner kernel of the surface and sometimes do meat thick, the finished product can be cut with a chopper.
